In the market for innovative bike parking

We like innovative parking solutions that actually work as parking, rather than as works of art. If I want to see art I'll go to the National Gallery, thanks very much. Except that the bike parking's not very good there.

So we're pleased to see that Anthony Lau's Cyclehoop (right) - mentioned here back in January - is now getting some recognition.

Another of our favourites is the Plantlock, described last May. In fact, we have one in our front yard.

So we were happy, trundling round Exmouth Market the other day, to find that it's the parking solution of choice here too (right). We just hope there aren't too many visitors with dogs.
